The Meaning behind the madness,

In my digital Culture and social media class we talk a lot about our online presence and how it means different things to different people. However the part they all share in common is the oversharing ones life. Over the course of the past couple years I've been taking more and more steps back from being completly glued to my devices and socail media platforms like I was in high school. I've been taking time to grow and learn about me. With these images I wanted to capture the feeling being caught in a whirlwind of media. The tin foil surrounding represents the amount of digital noise out on the web. Meaningless slefies and food pictures to let you friends you rarely talk to that your life is perfect continue to flood social media platforms. When choosing what images I wanted to include in the screens, I wanted to pick out moments where I felt my happiest that just also happened to be captured by a camera. For example, I have my first halloween costume from year 1 after being adopted, My last day of senior year, My graduation, Prom, Class production of Cat and The Hat, Circus performances, etc.

I choose to have my title page from my Photo 2 final in the palm of my hand to show growth on how far I have come as a creative. I've pushed my limits on creating my sets, installing the perfect lighting, and figuring out a way to do it all myself.

In the end I'm really proud of what I've created. For one of my final edits I plan on inserting images from all the shoots I have done this semester and also including the image from Photography 2.
