When thinking back to photography 2 I remember working on defining my aesthetic for my portfolio which turned into a photography zine. Most of my work consisted of bright whites and cool tones. Moving into photography 3 I want to continue my work with this aesthetic, but also play with warm tones. Last time I took inspiration from my favorite New York based photographer Nichole Franzen, now moving forward I would like to continue my exploration through emulation, but I also want to start doing more elaborate set ups to create pieces that spark a conversation. An artist that I recently have grown to become obsessed with is @kihmberlie. What draws my in the most about Kimberlys photographs, is the attention to every last detail in the composition and the was that she tells a story through her pieces. Stay tuned for more brainstorming later to come. :)
